- All current Transitional Kindergarten – 7th grade Home Study students may use this time to request Chico and/or Paradise classes for next year. This is a priority-based open window and not first-come first-served. Students should be sure to prioritize classes in the order of importance to them. At the end of the request window, requests will be randomized and every effort will be made to accommodate students’ highest priority classes based upon available space, pre-requisite completion, and course restrictions. We will make every effort to register your student into classes you request, but please keep in mind that all requests may not be filled.
- TK-5 students will only be registered in one 2-hour block of classes no matter how many blocks they request.
- 6th - 8th grade students will be limited to only two class enrollments no matter how many classes or hours they request.
- TK-8 students will continue to be subject to these restrictions throughout the summer. A date to lift this restriction will be set in the Fall. At that time, students may request 3rd and 4th classes as space allows.
- Preliminary Class Schedules will be posted to the website March 2nd. Class descriptions should be posted by March 26th.
- Students may log into their Student Portals on (date to be determined) to see which classes they were registered into. If a student would like to drop a class, the student’s PLT should be contacted as soon as possible to process a DROP request. Additional classes (subject to defined restrictions above) may be requested via the student Portals during the May round of class requests and/or throughout the summer.
April 30th – May 4th New Student Class Request Window
- All new students that have turned in all of their paperwork and completed the enrollment process may use this time to request classes for next year. This is a priority-based open window and not first-come first-served. To better the chances of getting desired classes, students should be sure to prioritize classes in the order of importance to them rather than by timeslot throughout the day. At the end of the request window, requests will be randomized and every effort will be made to accommodate students’ highest priority classes based upon available space, pre-requisite completion, and course restrictions.
- Existing CORE students may also participate in this request window.
- Students may log into their Student Portals on (date to be determined) to see which classes they were registered into. If a student would like to drop a class, the student’s PLT should be contacted as soon as possible to process a DROP request. Additional classes (subject to defined restrictions above) may be requested via the student Portals throughout the summer.
May 15th – August 14th First Come First Served Class Requests
- All students enrolled for the Fall 2019 semester may log into their Student Portals throughout the summer to request additional classes (subject to defined restrictions above). Please allow 48 hours for class requests to be processed. If a student would like to drop a class, the student’s PLT should be contacted as soon as possible to process a DROP request.
